Great. Then why does 57 and liberals and our media point the blame finger at the US rather than Europe?
 
It's a healthy sign that European leaders are starting to look at it in those terms. Poland and the Baltics have already made enormous contributions relative to GDP to Ukraine. Time for others to step up.

Are European countries not in debt? Ukraine has a lot of strategic value to us as well as significantly weakening one of our main rivals. If you believe in peace by strength then our military advantage is as big as it's ever been. And we got that without one American death. If we let Russia expand that gives them increased power both economically and militarily. Especially a country with a lot of oil and valuable minerals.

Also NATO is essentially our army. We have the greatest say in that alliance. We pay more but it' guarantees we have a significant military advantage in any potential war. By ourselves countries could get close to our strength by allying. China/Russia together vs just US is so much closer than NATO vs any potential alliances that could happen by a significant margin. Putin is never attacking a NATO country. Peace through strength .
 
What Germany (and Europe) really need is another Adenauer. Hopefully Merz steps up. Needs a scar though.

Did you even ask why that clip only shows that comment? Probably because before and after this statement you get the context that he is talking about Russia overrunning Ukraine and attacking a NATO country which would then require us to send men to fight. If we were to do anything in Ukraine it would all be via bombings not boots on the ground. Don't you ever get tired of falling for these hoaxes?
