Judging by deaths of despair I'd say there ate large and growing mental health problems afflicting that particular demographic group. Compounded by culturally-mediated reluctance to get help.

That’s not really a whataboutism though. If the claim is that Dems are more mentally ill, bringing up reasons why mental illness might be underdiagnosed amongst non-Dems seems kind of related?

Quick question though for the Dems: Do you think the way the bill is going to change is going to be by cutting fewer services or taxing the rich more? I get the opposition party has to do something, but what are you expecting to get here?
