I have a feeling he pulled some stat and acuna didn’t qualify due to plate appearances.

Better than Verdugo, yes. Because Verdugo does nothing well.

Yes there is absolutely no use in wasting money on a Kyle Gibson or Charlie Morton. Let the rookie go for it.

Kyle Gibson had nothing left though. Uncle Charlie on the other hand is roughly the same pitcher as last year. Which would be valuable at this point.
