You might be surprised to learn that people have in fact committed violence, up to and including murder, against this community. In fact, some of the people who died by suicide did so after having violence committed against them.

Because he advocated for harm to others for simply existing. If its a random person its not a big deal but when its a person with real influence and political power I think its self defense. The ironic thing was the killer grew up in a Conservative home. It was the trans person who was horrified by what Robinson did. Tell me is saying "Stoning gay people is Gods perfect law" not objectively worse than what I said. I am glad hes dead because he wants to make me a criminal in the eyes of the law. He advocates killing people for simply being born gay. Dont want none dont start none I say. I dont understand why advocating violence against someone using the government as the tool is different than just saying you want some violence against someone. If its a child predator hell yeah lets authorize the government to use violence to stop them. When we have unpopular laws being enforced we get the riots and the hate for the police. Nothing should be a crime without a supermajority vote. We shouldnt be enforcing laws that only 50% support much less the 20% support this shit has. It makes the cops jobs more dangerous. It diverts resources from solving real crimes that hurt people. Imagine if we put those resources into catching pedos. I would say we could have a war on pedos but then i look at the governments track record and pass.

I mean, I’m perfectly fine with a Remembrance Day for people who were bullied or harmed for any reason, including for being white. Others might object, but I can also extend empathy to white victims of violence specifically.
