Tyler Starr is killing it in camp. Love the reports. His size is good 6'4 250 but his motor is what impressing everyone the most. He doesn't have breakaway speed. But he's explosive. Maybe he can find his way into being an NFL pass rusher. If he develops, Falcons have 4 guys who look like starters with Hageman, Matthews, and Freeman. Hageman has some concerns, but you have to hope maybe the motor of some of the other guys on defense will inspire him.

No, you're always talking up work ethic, saying who was it Crabs outworks everyone else? I can't remember. Here's a kid who coaches are noticing has a Jared ALlen type of Motor where he doesn't ever stop. Even in camp. That's something that pops.

Southward should start at some point this season. I bet Hageman starts outside Ina rotation and comes in for Solai at NT on passing downs. Guy swats down passes like a beast.

AJC really poured on praise for Shembo. He could replace Bierman or start on the pass rush end easily.

He was a lot cooler when he had a George Costanza sig.

I think its all the ganja thats getting to him. I was out of control in college as well smoking 5-7 times a day easy. You don't realize it at the time but it messes with you.

thethe would you agree that it's put up or shut up time for the 49ers and Kaepernick? Super Bowl or bust. He has enough talent on the offensive side of the ball to be a top quarterback or he isn't going to be. Defense is pretty solid again. Secondary there could be some issues and our pass rush is a big question mark too since Aldon is well...Aldon. Arguably the 49ers are the most talented team in the league when you consider their depth too. No excuses for not winning it all.

Absolutely I agree. Last year the weapons were severly lacking early in the season but he stepped up as the year progressed. This year they have probably the second most talented team in football. If they lose to Seattle in the NFC Championship game then it could be viewed as ok but the time is now for sure.

I think the defense is going to take a big step backwards this year honestly but the offense should be able to score a bunch. You just don't know if Aldon is going to do something stupid again. Justin Smith is another year older. Does Dorsey have another career year? What is Bowmans health? How will our inexperienced secondary do? What rookies/second year players step up? Lots of questions on defense for hte 49ers which is not something we are used to seeing.

Not that I was asked, but I'd have to agree. Although with the worlds greatest drafter in Baalke, there shouldn't be anything but next superstar up on D I kid, i kid). Certainly have the talent level to win it all, and even more the depth. Really holds onto if the running game holds up, and if CK can step forward.

I would be interested in taking CK in fantasy this year. I think from a value perspective he would be a good get. Ryan as well seeing as though I think both of their percieved values will be low, but with high upsides.

If you add a straigtened out Aldon and a healthy Bowman then it instantly becomes one of the top 5 defenses in football. Its not the worlds greatest drafters fault that two All-Pros aren't going to be playing for various reasons.

Even with that there is a crapload of talent still there. If Tank is healthy then that could change everything. he could be a true impact player.

Then you have to hope that Culliver has his head on straight and Reid can continue where he left off last year.
