GDT #49 5/25/'14: Rockies (Morales) @ Braves (Teheran) 5:10 PM EST

I think your looking at a minimum 6 years 120 million to re-sign Justin. I worry about how he will age but I would still do it just to keep the core together.

Depends on how they approach him. If they show a public willingness I guess you would call it, I'd say he probably stays. Certainly helps BJ is here. And yes, I still think he is our most tradeable piece.

That seems like it would still be a discount but I have a feeling he would take less to play with Beej.

Let Varvaro get the 3 inning save today and save the rest of the pen for Boston (hopefully giving them a 14-game losing streak).

18 million is too high in my opinion. Unless he actually gains some sort of consistency.

I really feel this consistency crap is overrated. Dude puts up numbers. He's been pretty damn consistent this year, anyway. Every single player is streaky. All of them. Some guys have lower lows and higher highs. When he's hot he carries a team like the best of them. 18 mil would be a straight bargain.

I just don't see how you can pay a guy that much who isn't even top 5 in baseball at his position.

What do you consider elite numbers

For a corner outfielder?

I'd like to see a batting average of at least .285, .370 OBP, and a slugging of .460

I would be thrilled with a 30 homer, 90 rbi, and 15 stolen bases season. Ideally I would love plus defense, but let's not kid ourselves here.
