SOB! The Yankees took another one of my Mississippi State guys. Jonathan Holder in the 6th round. I can't stomach having my MSU guys on that team.

Same, UNC could use him since they've lost alot of talent over the last 2-3 years but the Braves need an outfielder given the Heyward/JUp situations coming up soon.
 
The 11th round pick is always of interest with this slotting system. Last year we drafted Grosser there. Two years ago we drafted son of Pat Borders, who did not end up signing with us.

Yeah, and I'm thinking in the next few rounds we are going to try to generate some "rollover" money.
 
Someone with the Braves has a fetish for 4th outfielder types who can fill in at center. Curcio joins Cunningham, Mycal Jones, Wren, Oliver, Lien, Brown, Black in that genre.

If there is a future starting center fielder in our system, he will probably emerge from our collection of middle infielders.

I don't think they'd do that this early. My guess is they will make an honest effort to sign him. Wide variance in the rankings I've read.
