Too much put on him too early imo. No idea why you would put him leadoff after like 2 weeks. Should of either kept him lower in the order until after the ASB and see how he's handling the big leagues then or sandwhich him between Heyward and Freeman in the 2 hole.

I remember when Bobby put Kelly in the 3rd spot as soon as he was called up and he started like 0-26 was it?

Maybe. But getting out once out of 4 or 5 trips to the plate isn't that great.

It's not about his struggles it's about why he is in the leadoff spot or at the top or the order for that matter.

been that way all year minus the first of hte year when freeman and justin carried the team and then for awhile when justin and gattis were hot. other then that only 1 player has been hitting well if that. hard to score when happens. also having 3 players having horrible offensive years at the plate don't help either. Half the lineup has a sub 300 OBP every day when you include the pitcher. That needs to be addressed.
