People always say the NL East is weak...it's bc no team in the division can hit worth a fck. There is some really good pitching in the East.

The Nats are just as mediocre as we are.

They score more runs then their opponents and don't have any major weakness like the Braves do. The only thing the Braves had going for them in 2014 was a 7-1 record against the Nats coming into the series. Against other teams the Nats have outclassed the Braves pretty bad. As things go the Nats just have to play .500 ball agaisnt the Braves the rest of the way and they will win the East pretty easily.

the Nats made their 2nd error in 15 games today
the Nats went a stretch with Harper,Zimmerman, Wilson Ramos and LaRoche on DL. Equalling 5/8 of their lineup. At once
the Nats bullpen is impresive
the Nats rotation 1-5 might be the best in the league
the Nats have Rendon
it's not even the All-Star Break yet !!

And, the Braves with all of their problems have gone in and split a 4 game series

Pitching was better and certain players hit better and two of them were due to inflated BABIP's that aren't repeatable.
