Hawks trade for Salmons to clear some space and give up Lou Williams and their first round pick from Brazil last yaer. Thats an odd move to me. Do they think that Lebron is coming there or something?

I'm a little peeved. We're going to waive Salmons for even more money but if we don't actually sign or trade for a good player then loosing Bebe wasn't worth it.

Yeah, I don't get that at all. Do the Hawks really believe they can attract Lebron? I mean, the team is really good and I think they are a top 3 seed in the east without Lebron assuming health for Horford but to let go of such a high ceiling prospect for a pipedream seems a bit much to me. Unless of course they know something we dont.

I don't think Lebron is an option. We technically have the room for both him and Melo but they'll never do it. Getting rid of Lou was nice but we gave up a good prospect for flexibility and nothing in free agency is guaranteed. Lou's spot means we can do an uneven trade so maybe there's something in the works. I just don't know.

Hawks a top 3 seed? Da Fuq?

So college basketball fans:

Is Semaj Christon a good player? Someone to be interested in?

He's okay, don't really see a future for him in OKC with RW and Reggie....he's an athlete that can't really shoot and is a shoot first PG which is obviously a bad combo. Needs to add weight and muscle, didn't see him a ton but I guess he could end up being a backup PG someday, has a lot of work to do, though.

Probs smart for Kidd to go.

Bucks have some good pieces in place.

Nets should go for Mark Jackson.

You don't think that Horford makes a difference in a horrible conference? Who is clearly better than them aside from Miami when they sign another 2 stud players?

Indiana, Miami, Chicago, Washington, Toronto are clearly better. The bottom half of the conference got better thru the draft as well.

Does Horford make a 10 game difference? No.

THey have no backcourt

I don't see how Horford/Mil/Korver/Teague is top 3 in the East, they don't really have a good bench. Bron/Melo/Love aren't going there, so unless Ferry pulls something out of his ass, I'm assuming they are somewhere between 6 and 10.

Supposedly Pau is meeting with OKC.

Wont get him but thats interesting, meeting with LAL/Chi/GS as well.

No backcourt? I love Jeff Teague. That guy is underrated in my book. They are going to run their team like the Spurs and just have a sick amount of shooting.

That would be incredible if Pau came over to OKC. Seems like a longshot but you would either trade Perk for an exception for a team needing to get over the floor or amnesty him. Pau would literally complete the team of hte only thing they don't have.

I would love to watch Pau cry as he gets no touches from Westbrook or Durant.

How would you know if he wouldn't get touches? OKC has never had a big man that can score inside. Ibaka gets his shots and when Butler/Fisher were in they got shots. KD/RW pass the ball real well but we were a bit devoid of options because we were so star heavy. now the depth of the team is a strong suit.

They are going to run the team like the Spurs? That is without a Duncan, Leonard, or Parker.
