This would be a great move but it would probably cost a little more due to Sale's age and contract. I would definitely do this trade. We get a young TOR starter and have Reed Johnson and Jordan Schaffer to play right field. Hopefully Jordan can win the right field job and be the leadoff hitter we have been missing.

We still have to hope the Upton brothers find their swings because our season hinges on their production. We have invested a lot in them and we win or lose based on their success.

If this move happened it would be Upton in RF and Gattis in LF unless Gattis stops hitting.

He has a team friendly contract but his arm wont make it all the way to the end of it imo.

Id go for the pitcher from the cubs just for more depth, feldman. Ive always like peavy but I woyldnt touch him these days. I dont think a deal for an ace would happen to the offseason. Minor and julio3000 could be one in the making.

Lee is still owed 50 million dollars AFTER this year. Unless they want to eat half that, no thanks.

Not sure how this will happen but Dodgers going after Lee.

If they get Utley and Lee it's a wrap.
 
Some stuff from Wren.

Thinnest trade market he's seen in 22 years at MLB level.

Payroll won't be an issue for us, talent we have to give up and it's also understanding how much of an upgrade a particular player is for us.

Are there pitchers out there who make us better, yes, the number of them is pretty low.
 
Dodgers are ridiculous.

I'm glad Wren understands any starter we get needs to be one that will help us at the front end of the rotation. Preferably one with playoff experience.
