Sheesh.
4/46 I think I saw.
MLBTraderumors: "The Braves are now packaging Justin Upton and Chris Johnson in trade talks with teams, according to Bob Nightengale of USA Today (via Twitter)."
I'm not sure why we are trying to package anyone with Upton. Deal with CJ's salary another time but get the most you can get back for a big time plyaer like UPton.
Other teams sayin they feel we're goin to keep Gattis. Why in the hell would we? Him in LF all year would be terrible and he'd probably get injured. And then have 0 value. Trade his a$$ now.

Why don't you wait to see how it transpires before reacting?

Now if we just subtract Justin Upton from our side of the deal, things would be perfect!
Spoke with #Braves’ Hart. Adamant about keeping JUp/Gattis unless he gets exactly what he wants. Could add SP, 2B and go for it instead.

I invented a new word last night to sum up one of my fears about the Braves moving forward. I combined the words "pretend" and "contend" to form "prontend," in other words, "pretending to contend."

LOL, what else would he say?
A very French way of doing things, if I may say so.

If it were German, I imagine it would be something like Pretendcontendagungchashure.
We are--in Hart's opinion--a SP and 2B away from "going for it" but he would rather rebuild. Awesome.
But wouldn't going for it mortgage the future? I wouldn't mind sucking again for another year or tow if you could tell me we would be a playoff caliber team for the next 6.
