100,000 Christians a year are put to death by most estimates, mostly in the Middle East.
And that is terrible
Do you have a link to stats for this topic that is VERY far off topic?

Well Im against the Designated Hitter too ! I find it as relevant to this conversation as abortion.
Why is it, every time a redstater finds themselves on the short end of a political / current events discussion they think they get to use abortion as their trump card.
Fact of the matter -- no one is for abortion.
Just like no one is for appendectomy or knee replacement.
I respect one's view as far as it affects their family. But in this case I dont see where this has anything to do with the discussion.
We are talking about our government going across the world torturing people then lying about it.
Hysterectomy or vasectomy. Against them too .
Just like abortion
So weird and dumb logic you have there with that statementWhen you go "Wow" when I say something about murdered Christians it doesn't make it off topic.
Goldfly is an atheist, so religious genocide is of little practical importance to him.
So weird and dumb logic you have there with that statement
But hey, you most likely think just like the families that our drone strikes kill and the people we torture and kill
Not really, moron. Whatever.
100,000 Christians killed in genocide= drone bombings. Impeccable logic.
uh, yeah
really
go take a nap and sleep off the booze so we can not have an excuse for your words tomorrow
100,000 Christians a year are put to death by most estimates, mostly in the Middle East.
Estimates of the total number killed range from around 7,000 or 8,000, according to the International Institute for Religious Freedom’s Thomas Schirrmacher, to the lofty 100,000 estimate of the Center for the Study of Global Christianity.
Syria heads the list of the countries in which the most Christians were killed for their faith (1,213), followed by Nigeria (612), Pakistan (88) and Egypt (83).
Of the top 10, six are in Africa – with Kenya (20), Angola (16), Niger (15) and the Central African Republic (9) joining Nigeria and Egypt on the list.
That might be a good idea. I can barely tolerate your moonbat logic when I'm sober, much less when I'm drinking.
No, not "just like." But carry on with your moral indignation.
Don't forget boys and girls. 100,000 Christians killed a year in genocide= Drone bombings. We have goldfly to thank for it.
you get really dumb when you drink
did you know that?
i compared your statement
not your made up bull**** stat of 100k people
but hey, run with it if it makes you happy
by most estimates
To be fair: it's pretty easy to be both an atheist and find religious genocide of practical importance—both from a general moral perspective and as a matter of self-interest, considering atheism is a belief-system (albeit one of absence instead of presence) that could just as easily be (and sometimes is) violently persecuted.
But to humor you I will again point out, no one is for abortion.
Let's agree that that is a discussion for another day and has absolutely nothing to do with this topic.
Moral indignation --- you really typed that after scolding me ?
But to humor you I will again point out, no one is for abortion.
There is a majority of Americans that allow that there are circumstances where this procedure is the best / worst option.
Big difference than making it the political football of for or against
It depends. This is just one report (from a democratic senator, I believe?)
If torture is needed and gets the information to the CIA to save our lives, I'm all for it. If it doesn't work, it's dumb and they should stop.
