If KD leaves (I'm starting to lean towards no) then you want to make sure you have a good PnR partner for RW. Kanter is so young that he has plenty of room to grow.

He can grow, but you are betting heavily that he developes a defensive game (total question mark) and that his offensive game keeps improving (likely, but you never know when players plateau).

You aren't winning anything with Enes Kanter as your second banana. There is a reason he's never been able to crack the Jazz lineups and there is a reason the Jazz have always been better in terms of plus/minus with him on the bench.

Harden guards plenty of tough offensive players including at times the best perimeter player. It's just a convenient excuse to knock Harden without any way of doing it statistically.

Well, guess what, Harden sets better screens than KD. He must be a better player!

I definitely need to watch Kanter play more before being able to intelligently speak about him. I've really liked what he has done thus far (even decent defensive effort). We will see by the end of the year.

Im pretty oblivious to Utah apparently because I didn't realize his numbers were that bad. Yikes.

Any links to this?

He guards the worst offensive player, but you can continue to spew otherwise. It helps him, the team so it gives him more energy on offense to dominate.

So if they're playing GS, he's guarding Klay or Steph?

Or Cle, he's gonna guard Bron or Kyrie?

At times, not all game.

They play Cleveland this weekend, so i'll see how many times he guards Kyrie or LBJ, my guess not many like he hasnt all freaking year.

Ah... Heyward finding another opportunity to take shots at Harden.

It's been a hard three years hasn't it?

I watch the games. Can you provide a link to where Harden never guards them? I'll be waiting.

Considering it's a fact, no.

He guards the worst offensive player, it's how Houston schemes and it's smart.

It actually helps Harden infact.

But no, it's been a fine 3 years.

You watch all of Houston's games and you arent a Rockets fan, yeah you're full of crap.

Can you provide a link to where he does?

I'll be waiting.

No, Harden doesn't guard those guys. They've designed their team to bring in players so he doesn't have to do that.

You are making a point that you cannot defend?

And you are?

Ariza/Brewer get the top offensive wing, and Bev gets the PG.

Harden gets the worst of the three.

Can you at least post some evidence he does guard the elite perimeter guys?

Again, you are making the point as a knock on Harden and support of Klay. So, prove to me that Klay guards tougher guys than Harden and does a better job at it.

Do i even need too?

Klay is one of the top perimeter defenders in basketball by almost anyone who knows anything about basketball.

He's almost always on the teams top guy late in games.

I wonder what's harder, guarding elite perimeter guys night in and night out, or taking the worse one every night. Obviously the latter.
