Spring Training 2015

Was Miller just bad or was there an injury concern.

As per the Graham discussion, I can see both sides of the argument. I just don't know why they converted him from a college reliever to a minor league starter. The Twins have him in the bullpen and he may be able to stick as the last guy in an AL bullpen (Twins did that with Johan Santana when they obtained him as a Rule 5 guy). I just could never figure out why the Braves did that with guys recently, but especially with Graham. It's my guess that if the Twins don't keep him, the Braves will take him back. I do think the choice of protecting Gil, Cunniff and a couple of other guys instead of Graham is clearly debatable, but the player development guys see a lot of these guys and make their evaluations. I tend to trust them.

Miller shrugged off his bad day, said he was fine, but that every time he peed, his shoulder hurt. Media wondered if Minor was contagious.

Looking forward to seeing Martin pitch today. With the Minor injury, I hope he has a great spring and wins a spot in the rotation.

Listening to games is more challenging now. If I start mid inning, I'm not always sure which team is being spoken of.

That said, Sutton sounds good on the mic.

We can trade Sutton for Chip? Hell can we trade the radio for tv or at minimum let them switch like the old days on TBS?

Braves may no hit the Astros and still lose, lol. 2-1 Astros but Astros haven't gotten a hit through 7 innings.

Note: If this was the regular season I'd not be mentioning the no hitter.

O'Dowd has some real speed for a catcher, he has already stolen two bases this ST. He also went first to third well against the Mets yesterday (though he overslide the bag and got tagged out in that game).

Cunningham sac-fly ties the game 2-2 btw.

Gattis on being traded from #Braves: "That’s where I started. That’s all I knew. I (bleeping) love the Braves."

Former Brave Gattis is 2-3 with a walk and 2 RBI's helping lead the Astros 13-8 over Detroit in their other split squad game.

We might no hit the Astros through ten innings, but we won't get a win either way. Braves don't score in the tenth, last AB for Astros coming up.

That's it, Braves no hit the Astros for ten innings but don't win it. Final score: Braves 2, Astros 2.

If you can even call who we tied the Astros, more like a collection of the minor league team. They sent all their offense to play Detroit today and in that game are winning 13-8.

Don't split hairs. We tied. And no hit another team. This is a major accomplishment.

They did have a few of their regulars starting the game, namely Altuve. Plus outside of the walks it is nice to see our pitchers have a better day than yesterday.
