It's OVER 5,000!
Jace and Maybin are killing at 1-2.
Yea, it seems often those two start our rallies and big innings too. Plus both have been great with runners in scoring position.

#Braves Markakis is 0-for-7 w/ no RBIs when batting with bases loaded this season.
what would jace have to end the year with for folks to say he's our long term 2B?
I think the d is going to be there. I'm thinking I'd need to see him get over 1 offensive war. If he does that he'll probably be pushing 2.5 WAR.
We are on track to go 77-85. Pretty close to what many thought prior to the season starting. We aren't awful, but not very good either.
So lets see for a moment: Mallex Smith continues his good work in the minors. Peraza will be up with the big club, I believe, at some point this season. Either Peraza or Peterson moves to third with the other at second. How about a combination of Peraza/Smith/Peterson at the top of the lineup in 2016? I could go for that.
I really do think that as Jace gets his feet underneath him he is going to show more power. This kid is going to be a good one. 1.3 WAR and counting....

Like I said... no power equals the need for many hits in a row.
Dob keeps saying they won't put one at 3rd bc they don't have enough power and arm strength issues. This is from a team who extended Chris Johnson....looking at u JS.
Peraza smith peraza leads to a lot of games like last night where we can load bases and not get any runs.
Some scouts think peraza could get prado like power. Might need 2 yrs to grow into his body. Peraza is 6 foot and thin while mallex and albies are just tiny
Assuming we keep hitting well (lucky) with RISP. We are on the very high end in that area right now. If that stops then it's going to get worse. Of course you would assume we get better relievers at some point to possibly counteract that.
Or if Teheran and hte back end of the rotation continues to pitch well. I think there is plenty of reason to believe the Braves will improve in some areas while regressing in others.
Probably right. These things generally even themselves out over the course of the season. I still think we lose close to 90 games.
