No, I said: "A few years out of college?"
Do you know he didn't denounce the birther stuff? Have you read all of his editorials? I haven't. I don't know. I don't assume he did or didn't.
I just find it highly ironic that the one guy who was actually succcesful in blowing up the system is the one guy that is hated for doing it.
I frankly don't know and I frankly don't care. My point is that Douthat was in a position of media prominence to denounce it and it would have had weight. Given that timeline, I thought your attack on 57 was off base. Attack 57 all you want (which many do but he seems to take it), but he had a point here.
As it turns out, Douthat did denounce birthers, but that wasn't my point. Link from 2010: http://douthat.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/06/29/birthers-polls-and-public-ignorance/?_r=0

Big day today. The Republicans could be down to two disasters after today, or if Kasich wins Ohio, the empire might find someone to put their money behind to keep in the race. Will the polls in Florida hold and send Little Marco packing?
Does Hillary blow it open, or does Bernie pick off wins in Missouri, Illinois and Ohio?
Let's not forget we are going into Ohio with a history of election chicanery favoring the (R) du jour
Will be surprised if Kasich loses
