Best makeup.
Best work ethic in the draft.
Braves way? Wth
I was super excited for the draft for the last couple weeks. I feel pretty stupid for getting excited
Did the Braves dislike Heyward that much that they refused to take a flier on the kid that resembled him a lot?
True, but the rankings usually are fairly accurate to what the general consensus among teams is. If we get someone ranked in the 30's with the 40th pick then you can be pretty sure things didn't work out like we wanted.
Boston only has a pool of 6 million or so, Groome would take almost all of that.
Thank you. Good lord. I really wanted a high-upside bat, Lewis was my number one guy; BUT, I see a rotation that has the potential to be absolutely lethal and the pitchers to get the bats we need - oh, and we have more picks. LolThe Braves paid zero attention to the "consensus" rankigns. When you have someone like McDaniel working on this every day, they had his list -- a list no one else has. Their evaluation of players is shared with no one. Including us. And that's as it should be.
Still would have liked Lewis.

Is this mlb.com feed using the old Mariners GM who traded for Horacio Ramirez? Was Matt Millen not available?
They traded that guy away in Heyward. Clearly not the Braves way anymore
some teams don't care.
