The Trump Presidency

The North Korean issue at large is certainly not Obama's fault, but the fact that they have missiles capable of hitting our bases in Guam (and, as of tonight, are threatening to do so) is absolutely his responsibility.

Wrong on both. North Korea's program has been steadily progressing for years.

This threat is a direct result of Trump's reckless words. NK is always ready to play this game and of course this administration needs anything to divert attention from their scandals.

Yup....north Korea never provoked before trump.

They've been developing missiles since the 1970s. Kim Jong-un kicked the ICBM program into overdrive when he assumed power in 2011. Who was President then? I forget.

That's preposterous. North Korea didn't have a weapon capable of reaching US soil until a few months ago. The game has changed.

This story will replay itself in a few years with Iran because of Obama/Kerrys deal.

The disaster of the Obama presidency will reveal itself in time to those that are blinded by his holiness.

You are off the deep end over Obama and the Clintons, but whatever happens from today is squarely on your President's shoulders.

So no specifics then.....

What did Obama do that encouraged business growth?

like it matters to you

more jobs were hired in Jan. to July months last year than this one for your hiring link in the next post

most of it was heading this direction before the orange one came around. you can stick your head in the sand if you want. it isn't going to upset me

and of course business will be happy with the thought of a president who says "**** the environment and earth" i'm not shocked by that at all.

So still.....no actual policy direction from the Obama administration that led to job creation. I'll wait for you to answer that question at some point.

Yeah - the deal Bill made with North Korea in 94 as well as the tolerance of North Koresas actions since then by the last three presidents have nothing to do with where we are now. I understand it destroys your perception of the world to know that Obama was an awful president. The world is much less safe overseas because of his weak foreign policy while our major cities in America have become 'war zones' over the last 8 years.

TRUMP IS EVIL!!!!

I would go to bed tonight feeling much more secure if Trump had a major hotel in Seoul.

Walter Pincus‏Verified account @walterpincus

No serious American President, with at least 1,550 U.S. nuclear warheads on alert, should ever have made the public threat Trump did today.

TRUMP IS EVIL!!!!

The Wire portrayed Baltimore in the early aughts/
perhaps 15 years ago.
Gangs of New York portrayed NY in the mid 19th century

But, carry on ...

If you dont want warzones in America maybe try voting for the party that would put an end to it thethe? If there is no black market for drugs there are no shootouts over drugs. Whens the last time Coors drove by Budweiser and shot up the place? Republicans are pro-warzones on out streets. Voting for a Republican because of the warzones in inner cities is like voting for Obama hoping he will stop Obamacare.

Unless you plan on paying the dealers to sit at home this isn't going to help. You'll just have the same guys move on to some other dangerous, illegal black market to make a dishonest buck. It's not the drugs, it's the fools behind them.

if drugs were legalized the crimes associated with drugs wouldn't subside at all.

I think a good portion of crime would phase out but I think we are fooling ourselves in thinking this will be a magic touch that eliminates all.

We need to reach the youth in these areas and provide them with another path. The only way to do that is with economic opportunity.

That is absurd.

Show me all the increased crime in Colorado... or how about all the alcohol crime after prohibition ended.

I'm not talking about Colorado which has never been in the news for crime problems. I'm talking about the inner cities where 90% of the crimes we hear about happen. You think street dealers, gangs and the addicts who rob people (all because of drugs) are going to clean up thier acts? It's all they know. It's what they do.
