Release the testimony. And if he really said that I would have pulled the actual quote and put it in there
I think the issue raised about what McCabe is quoted as saying is a legitimate one...but I would like to know more.
Also I think Page appears to be a peripheral figure in the whole Russian interference matter...maybe I'm wrong about this...but it seems to me that nothing in the memo undermines the grounds for Mueller's investigation...i see no beef...i see no stringy horsemeat...at most some very thin gruel
what I do see is a panicky attempt to discredit a legitimate investigation
How would we know without seeing the testimony, in context?
I'm more interested in seeing all of the FISA requests and surveillances obtained than I am in any transcript.
OMG! The police ran a red light on the way to a crime scene. That proves the Democrats are out to get us.
Did they or did they not use illegitimate support to gain a FISA warrant? Was the court aware of the sources of said support?
And ultimately what is trying to be proved? Collusion. If this led to actual findings of collusion then I would agree as I believe the crime is more important then the process to prove the crime. However, we have found no evidence of collusion so now the focus is obstruction. And what is being obstructed here? A falsified claim? That is where I draw the line and why these process details are of so much importance.
If Mueller comes out tomorrow with a smoking gun on collusion then we are in a difference universe. That has not happened and I'm going to assume that at this point it will not happen.
