"I want to be like Mike Trout. I want to be at that level. I want to be great. I want to get to the big leagues, stay in the big leagues and play for a lot of years. Everything that comes with it. Be an All-Star, win championships, all that."
Ronald Acuna
Has any player ever thought any differently?
Just once I'd like to see a player say, "You know, I don't really care if I play at the MLB level. If I get there, I'd be happy with just sitting on the bench for a losing team, collect about 18 career PAs, and fade away into oblivion so I can get started on my used car salesman career".
Finally get to enjoy the full Wren era
How many actually have the talent to match the desire? Acuna COULD be one of the very few

Ronald Acuna Jr is 20 years and 128 days old.
The last five starting outfielders to make their MLB debut at a younger age:
Bryce Harper, 2012
Mike Trout, 2011
Miguel Cabrera, 2003
Andruw Jones, 1996
Ken Griffey Jr., 1989
I'm ready to see him play regardless but I think it's pretty funny that the wait ended up being until "2 terrible losses to the Reds".
The Atlanta Golden Wrens. Replace the chop with the whistle.Gonna be a Golden Era
In before someone tells us not to enjoy it becuase he is going to regress to the mean lol. He isnt going to slug .900!!!
Just an FYI on the Acuna sprint speed topic, on his infield single today statcast had him at 30.4 ft/sec.
80 grade!
I don't know if this is sarcasm or not, but that is definitely 80 grade speed.
why would that be sarcasm? it's simple math.
.... was that sarcasm? You are playing some professional grade sarcastaball right now.
