GDT: 6/6 Braves at Padres

The funny thing is, Albies is actually migrating back to an all fields hitter in a small sample size in June. Only 33.3% to the pull side in June. 42.9% hard contact rate.

It's failing horrendously. He's being badly punished for earlier in the year. Likely will go back to being dead pull because of it.

These are very odd and sweeping conclusions to draw...based on 21 BIPs in June...Twenty. One.

He has pulled 7 balls...Seven...and pulled another today...

He has hit 8 balls the other way...Eight.

All fields is failing and he's going to get sick of it and start pulling the ball a lot again and continue pressing even more.

To be clear....

You have concluded that "All fields is failing" after 22 balls in play?

Are you sure 22 balls in play is enough to determine he is now "all fields"?

Are you sure 22 balls in play is enough to determine it is "failing"?

This is hilarious!!

Margot thrown out to end the inning trying to steal with the pitcher at the plate.

Whaaaaaat?

Would have been safe by a mile if his big fat black .212 batting titties didn’t dig into the ground and get him stuck during his slide.

Yes. It is failing. It will NEVER work for him EVER again.

You're getting a bit too obvious now. Dial back the dumdum fakery or everyone will catch on that you're joking.

I'm not.

He's not a future .300+ hitter like y'all think he is with an all fields approach. He's more like still a future .240-.250 hitter.

Yay we get to see Tucker roll one over to 2B or strike out swinging at a ball above his hands

Albies could have easily had 2 hits with a HR and 2 RBIs today. Albies has been missing barely for the last week or so just like today.

Fairly pathetic showing by the offense today. This team seems very susceptible to hangovers. They win in dramatic fashion Sunday and are flat Monday. They run the score up last night and can't do anything at the plate today.
