Yes, I'm sure many Walmart employees have navigated life in such a way that they work at Walmart and are then going to complete a college degree lol.
Are you some sort of middle manager at Walmart or something?
Did the OP leave a body in the freezer?
My wife had a conference there once and hated it. Said it was frozen in 40 years ago decor.

When I worked at EWU
That’s what I love about it.
Walmart is the largest employer in almost every single Southern state. Due to being poor, Southerners can't afford to shop at Walmart. As a result, dollar stores are the only retailers that are growing in number.
These are facts. Sorry if they are offensive.

Fremont Street is like that. The gritty and better Las Vegas.
I once lived near a fancier plan Dollar General that had just been constructed and it wasn't so bad.
Went in it again recently and things had definitely declined.
I kind of miss the Kmarts. You could get in any out of there in no time at all and not see but a two or three people. Was not a positive for their business plan, I don't guess.
I won't go in our Wal-Mart. Course after a recent drug murder there, some customers set the thing on fire so it is not an option at present.

I am not... they were an old client of mine though.
Just think they get unfairly bad wrap... and frankly, give me the person willing to work bagging groceries over the countless people who don't and demand government hand outs
Great, but that's not the topic of discussion.
Offering college tuition to Walmart employees is about as practically useful as offering them stock purchases. It looks good as a talking point about how great the company is, but none of the employees benefit in any significant way.
Then folks like you who are completely out of touch tout it as some great thing, when in reality companies like Walmart are receiving corporate federal aid in the form of subsidizing their employees because they don't pay a living wage.
I bet you think starting a business is as easy as "getting a loan from your parents".
Any Spokane hidden-gem tips?
I don't think you know nearly as much as you think you do. I've worked with brilliant people from Walmart which allows them to make more revenue than any company on the globe. They don't do that bc they're idiots.
I don't support any corporate subsidies, including walmart.
And again, their employees at low levels are at least working, and kudos to Walmart for offering them a path to better themselves. Talk about out of touch...
Also, I started my own business last March. Thanks for the concern though

Always interesting to hear people's opinions when they've got stock-options for counting cards, ain't it???
Again, not on topic.
I'm talking about folks working at Walmart being unlikely to take advantage of college tuition reimbursement.
You're continuing to defend the brilliant executives at Walmart.
Seems to me your effort in defending them means you know it is nothing more than a talking point attempting to make them look like a great employer.
