I think we will move at least one of inciarte or dansby

.

Could AA already know what he is going to do? Maybe he neede Camargo to play SS because both Dansby & Ender are included going to Seattle (or somewhere). Seattle is so tip heavy, what they really need is multiple MLB guys who are cheap and controllable.

I wonder how much value a package of Newk, Ender, Dansby would be worth to them.

It backfills all of Segura, Paxton, and Haniger. That would make everything they got from NYY and whoever gets Segura as the bonus of the trade.

Arenado and Rendon are both FA next year so the 3b market will be strong again. With all of our prospects in tact we have a ton of options available. Peralta is available imo so that would be a very good option for us and he’s LH so that’s a plus. Our lineup already looks tons better from last year and so does the bench with Camargo taking the super sub role. A legit bullpen piece and a stud COF’er and we are set.

I don't even need to explain why you have the worst ideas in the world. Every baseball player has been injured so they are all more susceptible I guess. I don't even know how to respond to your Goldy comment other than just... what? You will have a negative spin on any move the Braves make though because that's your thing. Everyone's got a thing I guess.

Dang man learn to understand a joke. People have been saying Freddie should play third base sarcastically for months. Lighten up.

I like the move, but I hope we still have plans for Camargo.

This is exciting for 2019, and we all bought AA’s “we are set in the infield” hook, line and sinker.

I can’t wait to see the inevitable trade that’s about to happen.

Which one though? I could see multiple trades.

One for a cOF'er and dumping Julio's contract.

AA knows Camargo is a utility player and this allows him to fill that role

It’s really very simple.

I’m guessing they trade for a SP and sign Brantley or Cutch.

I’ll predict Gray to the Braves soon. He will represent good value and won’t block anyone for more than a single season. The pitcher going back to the Yankees will be good enough that the Yankees send cash. If it’s Fried he will turn into a stud with the Yankees.

Seriously, a top 4 of Cutch, Acuna, Freeman, JD is going to be pretty nasty.

I love it, Donaldson is a legit stud and one of the top 3 bats available in free agency.

I do think that spending this much on JD combined with settling for McCann and Flowers at catcher locks us into trading for an outfielder better than any of the FA options. We got stronger at 3B and bench but weaker offensively at catcher. Need to improve over Markakis's production from last year in order to improve offensively as a whole.

Brantley or Cutch seem realistic for the cOF spot. Just a matter of which one they like more. Or could trade for one, AA hasnt touched the farm system yet.

Gray had good numbers away from YS, but i'd aim higher if we're going to be making bold moves.

Sherman on twitter- Current #Braves plan is for Camargo (displaced from 3b by Donaldson) to become their Marwin Gonzalez. Already plays 2b, SS, 3b. Plan is to work in at 1b in spring, maybe corner OF to keep getting regular ABs.

Makes most sense to use him in a super UTIL role. Braves today essentially improved the bench and lineup with one move in Donaldson. And if he gets hurt, you have a good backup plan in Camargo.
