Nightendale says teams talking with Cleveland say they're more likely to trade Bauer than Carrasco/Kluber, interesting.

The Marlins asked for "Albies plus" for Realmuto

Whoa whoa whoa. Who do the marlins think JT is...Dee Gordon? I know Albies for Gordon was a good swap because the XM derptard who writes novella posts here said so, but for JT? No way!

Per Jim Salisbury: Twitter is buzzing about Patrick Corbin being in Philadelphia and at Citizens Bank Park today. Well, it is true. He is high on Phillies' wish list.

Corbin to Philly apparently, he's in Philly right now, welp.

This is about the most Phillies move the Phillies could make...paying a pitcher $100M+ into his mid 30s after a single good season.

I look forward to watching them completely squander their financial advantages over the Braves for the next 5+ years.

Love it!!

Just a visit, Yankees/Phils seemed as favorites for Corbin, carry on per Heyman. Stove getting HOT though.

He's not signing today but looking at the numbers, he has one elite year and would cost a draft pick.

I think that the Phillies think that they are closer than I think they actually are. I think.

Philly has the money but if you have that kinda money, you need to be smart about it and not blow it all in one winter. But if you can sign a Harper or Machado, you do it, those kinda players dont hit the market often.

Yeah I agree. To clarify, Markakis as a 4th OF would be fantastic

i'd be fine with Nick as a 4thOF'er but i think/hope AA will get a better one be it via trade (Haniger, Peralta) or in free agency (Cutch, Brantley).
