I don't think this answer to this is "sign Kimbrel" at all. This already looks like a season that's unlikely for us to be winning the division, and who knows with the wild card. I'm not giving up our second round pick to sign an aging reliever that likely doesn't help our playoff chances much.

We need to punt 2019 anyway. Phil’s got Harper so we need to open our window as theirs closes. Need a top 5 draft pick this year

How many people get sore after not working out for a while and then starting back? Most of these guys are sitting out as precaution as to not really injure something already sore.

We’ll be fine, but chances are a few of our guys will go down. We were VERY lucky health wise last year. I don’t think any of these guys are more than just sore.

If it was all general weight room soreness we would never know about it. Seems to me more often than not when injuries start being talked about publicly and the organization starts using terms such as “precaution”... it’s usually worse than we are being told

I hope you're right, but I think most of these guys are preparing for ST before it happens.... at least that's what I would expect of a professional athlete.

And....as a runner, I know that at any time you have any pain, you stop! The guys that get injured try to play through pain. At least these guys aren’t doing that, as far as we know.
