Not sure Cubs can either. They are pushing in. I like them going for it. They addressed a big need but still need to up grade more pen help.

I'm not saying we should have overpaid for Kimbrel. I'm saying we can't pass on everything we think is overpriced or we'll never field a great team.

we will pay a contenders premium when we trade for a reliever...but I'd rather do that than take on the kind of contract the Cubs are giving to Kimbrel
