Impeachment

Dr Hill shredding Republicans disinformation campaign. Questioning should be fun.

The crazy part I've noticed now is that the right wing continues to try and discredit and not believe these witnesses who are actually testifying UNDER OATH.

The people like Guiliani and Trump who could end all of this today keeo chirping from the bleachers but neither will testify under oath.

Then again these Reps and Senators took an oath of office and we see how serious they are about that.

I hope I never piss off Dr. Fiona Hill.

I will sleep better tonight knowing she is a major cog in our foreign policy apparatus

I can understand why the Dems are leery about bringing in Lev Parnas to testify, but his attorney has said he is prepared to do so. There might be some relevant information to be learned from him.

I've yet to see any drama or anything that might move anyone who has ever supported Trump.

The Dems are blowing this. It's a snooze-fest.

Polls show the inquiry is moving independents.

If it's only Trump's 33% you're worried about then they are a lost cause and will go down with the ship regardless of what he does. He'd probably have to get caught using the n-word on tape or something to move it down a percentage point but even then I'd be skeptical. You've seen how people like thethe defend his indefensible actions on a daily basis. So imagine that there are people even more loyal to Trump than thethe.

But his numbers amongst independents bode well currently for the Dems.

After John Dean the next "pizazz" moment in Watergate hearings was Alexander Butterfield. If memory serves that was 6 weeks later.
Government works at a snails pace deliberatly

Yeah, there’s a small handful of people in the WH and State who could clear this thing up entirely with a simple deposition. I’d imagine just responding to the document request would go a long way.

(R) would have been better served having Justin Amash on Intelligence Committee rather than --- pick one

A blown opportunity for both he and the legitimacy of their party

I'm not sure Schiff is even trying to make the best case. He and his witnesses are treading way, way too lightly. No one has yet to show any agitation at being hauled in front of the committee from what is basically lack of oversight on the Executive Branch. It's not their fault the President doesn't understand the laws of his office but yet they are the ones having to answer tough questions.

The people around the President should be the ones answering questions. They are just as at fault as he is. Each witness should should be saying this. And Schiff still hasn't made the case for why what Trump did was wrong or what allowing him to do that would lead to.

Schiff's closing argument today was pretty damn compelling.

I agree. But I'm a little tired of listening to him. Seems like a flawed system that puts so much responsibility on one person's shoulders. I think he's done a good job but he's got too much to do. I would be surprised to see him making an unannounced visit to Johns Hopkins.
