It would have been primarily peaceful if not for them. Again, another example of how white liberals are the worst
This is the absurdity of the left now.
What happened was a tragedy and clear policy brutailuty but what's happening now is impacting many more people from all backgrounds.
If you can see that then you are just not too bright.
These violent protests should be rejected by everyone.

I feel sorry for those of you who think a peaceful protest would amount to anything. The justification for this is that at the end of the day there is nothing that will change. Come November 98% of voters will enthusiastically vote for more of this. The solutions arent complicated but police remain the biggest roadblock to fixing the system. These riots arent about George Floyd, that's just the fuse that set it off.

That was way more than "police brutality". It was a clear public display of white power over a black man, a cruel and remorseless murder in broad daylight with black people watching and recording it on their phones. The white man kept his knee on the black man's neck for minutes AFTER he stopped breathing. He was handcuffed and unarmed.
Why did the policeman think he had the freedom to commit murder while in uniform? Maybe because it happens a lot with little to no consequence.

Consequences will include many years of jail time.

I am thoroughly enjoying watching them burn **** down. The "violence is never the answer" type **** is nice and all but the cops dont subscribe to that theory. 5 pound dog about to touch a cops boot.... violence is th answer.... guy disrespects a cop..... violence is the answer..... stupid kid has an ass backwards knowledge of the law.... violence is the answer...... only the government gets to solve its problems with violence .

Again, protests and riots are not the same. Protestors and looters are not the same. The peaceful protests have been great and inspiring. The rioters using them as a cover to do whatever they selfishly want.
No reasonable person is condemning the protests. Every reasonable person is condemning the rioting.

This isnt about Floyd. This is about the everyday situation with cops. And honestly many black people will tell you that the black cops are the worst of the worst.

Two wrongs don't make a right. The government using violence is all the more reason to answer with non violence. Gandhi, the Civil Rights Movement, Apartheid. The single most effective strategy against government oppression and violence is non-violence.
