Here is a prior run in with police by Arbery. That awkward moment when a cop tries to taser him and it malfunctions and they just stare at each other.

This is a good point. Unions are death to progress and doing the optimal things. It keeps these officers from accountability

The looting is, as it always is, people taking advantage of a chance to get free stuff with no consequences. Situations like this are practically a Ring of Gyges.
