Georgia Senate Runoff

1 ) Interesting use of desired effect of voter suppression to defend voter suppression.
Voter ID is one form

2) In case people have been asleep, Georgia through get out thr vote and massive registration drives has this time overcome generations of institutional tamping down the vote.
If I'm not mistaken Sam Nunn was last (D) Senator. Both seats are very possible.
Does (R) have to rely on driver networks to get their voters to the polls

3) Ease of voting. Time restrictions and polling stations. It is no secret higher turn out is not in the current administrations favor. It is also no secret that the powers that be are not scared of limiting polling stations or even eliminating polling stations.
Or limiting time access to vote. See (D) gains due to mail and absentee voting. Also see the lines and wait times.

4) Intimidation. Period
.;;;;;;;;;;;;
4) What (D) learned this time is pure numbers. People want (D) policies , polling tells us all that, Kemp etal can read too.
The old aciom , when you cant win on policy you argue the politics. When you still csnt win attact the personal.

5) It is more and more clear that it is the vote and getting out the vote that will combat generations of voter suppression in confederate states

If you're a hammer, everything looks like a nail.

Like I said- there’s been no evidence of voter suppression.

There are theories and....boogey men

There is/are for sure attempts at voter suppression

That doesn’t have anything to do with voter fraud

She’s legit terrible

No idea if the parler post is legit cause I don’t have an account for that safe space forum

I'd actually start the Loeffler-Warnock one as Lean D (and I believe the oddsmakers have it as that) and to me the other one (Perdue-Ossoff) is somewhat to moderately likely R.

I don't think it's actually that likely that you see this end up being a split, but I really question Loeffler's popularity (even though we've seen the brutal attack ads begin) because of her involvement in insider trading. Regardless of how this one goes, she's not going to be in the senate long, IMO. Either she gets voted out in January, primaried out with the 2022 primary (I doubt people are going to forget by then), or voted out in 2022 (slightly less likely, but still plausible).

I actually think both seats are very winnable but the messaging from Ossoff just hasn't been able to translate. The only situation where I can see him winning is if Warnock is able to generate enough black turnout that he drags Ossoff over the finish line with him.

It's fake.

Word, that’s why I put the disclaimer there cause I ain’t making an account to go find out lol

She’s awful even without that post imo ftr

What part is outrageous to you from that very short clip from a much longer speech/sermon?

I was posting it more as an update than an endorsement. I dislike his policies enough to know I won't vote for him. I imagine everyone else either agrees or disagrees and the mudslinging won't change their minds. I guess it drives turnout but I despise it. Tell me your policies. I'm not voting for someone to be my friend or to babysit my kids, I care about your policies.

And she actually has a Parler account (this one was just fake), which says a lot, imo.

I am not going to actually go into Parler, but the link is in this tweet if others want to:

You kind of already went into Parler with the "which says a lot imo," comment, you just did it without supporting your vague assertion.
I think the predatory T&C these people agree to without reading when they sign up pretty much guarantee that the Parler fad is going to end in disaster. I also understand how the uneven censorship of Facebook and Twitter has created a market for an alternative. I do not understand why someone would imply that a Parler account is indicative of a character flaw.
