If Trump won we would be down 2 million jobs. Probably in a great depression and in world war 27.

Yikes.
Sounds like a miracle we made it through 4 years of that crackpot.
If not for all the deaths due net neutrality, the tax cuts, leaving Paris accord, etc... covid would have been even worseA lot of people didnt.
Do our lefty friends believe she is a racist just like the orange one?
Is this a serious comparison? Harris discouraging illegal immigration vs. all of the policies Trump put in place to eliminate avenues for legal immigration? Those things are not the same.
This must be tough for you guys to see because it really goes against the ads and the fearmongering about RaDiCaL LeFtIsT OpEn BoRdErS.
Which policies?
It's stupid for Biden to claim all of the credit for creating all of those new jobs, most of which are just pandemic recovery. It was also stupid for Trump to claim all of the credit for a stock market boom that started in 2009 and continued during his term.
Incredibly annoying that seemingly every president (and politician) does this- either takes full credit in good times or passes blame on their predecessor in bad times- and most people know so little about the economy that they believe it if it is their guy.
You shouldn't really have to look that far beyond the RAISE Act, which proposed a 50% reduction in legal immigration and didn't pass but was effectively imposed as a COVID safety measure (which is one case where a reduction in all forms of immigration makes some good sense). But if you're looking for specific policies where there was an attempt to reduce legal paths to immigration and citizenship...
1) Repeated attempts to eliminate DACA (while pretending to fight for it when convenient)
2) Travel bans
3) Numerous strategies to limit asylum seekers (work restrictions on asylum seekers, only allowing asylum claims at specific ports of entry, delaying application processing, etc.)
4) Lowering the refugee cap to the lowest point in history
5) Preventing states from providing welfare to immigrants, which you'd think would fire you up as a violation of state sovereignty
6) Making it harder to obtain an H1B visa, which was a nightmare when I was trying to hire an international student from her MBA program last year
7) Drastically cutting the rate of military naturalizations
8) Making it more expensive and more difficult to even apply for citizenship

Links above for Sturg.
I mentioned the RAISE Act, and I'm also confident that if you were to go through his speeches you'd find plenty of additional bluster about things like the wall or policies that never actually could've happened but were purely meant to intimidate and/or demean immigrants. And that is in addition to him referring to them as rapists and murderers or calling their native countries s***holes.
You're comparing the above to the VP traveling to Guatemala to learn about the conditions of migrant communities and then saying 'Don't come illegally into the US, go through legal methods of immigration instead.' You can have plenty of issues with Harris, but that is the definition of a disingenuous comparison from a GOP talking head meant to rile up people like you on Twitter.
I'm comparing Trump being called a racist on a daily basis for saying he didn't want illegal immigrants crossing the boarder... he said over and over and over again that he was in favor of legal immigration.
but when VP Harris says it... it's all the sudden not racist but just good ol common sense.
I recognize that calling out hypocrisy on the left is a waste of energy... but it's just funny how quickly the narrative changes. Remember, kids detained during Trump years were in cages... a modern day holocaust... Kids detained today are in "overflow facilities."
