Its only getting worse. The administration is even failing in the face of the disaster. It was one thing to make a strategic blunder in not getting troops out but they are still failing to catch up as the CCP continues to advance their world power.

We have got soy boy generals and the CCP has real men that would kill anyone in the way of their goal.

Wheres your respect for their religion? You want the Afghan people to fight back but god forbid someone in America use violence to protect themselves from laws based on stupid religious beliefs.
 
If they set up a strict theocracy that bans women from driving or voting or going to college, I don't have a problem with it. I'm okay if they go full Sharia Law and chop hands off for theft. That represents the belief of the vast majority of the country.

My concern is more for punishments that will be handed out for "crimes" committed before the Taliban came to party, especially when those "crimes" were acts by our allies and employees to assist our personnel. Those are the Afghans we should be trying to help, that should have been helped and evacuated prior to handing the country over to the Taliban.
 
Same thing is happening to them as would happen to Anericans who cooperated with a Taliban occupying force in America. They are the legitimate government in the country and make the laws. No different than happens in any other country.
 
The Nation furthering and better articulating my earlier point that the lessons of Afghanistan should be laser focused on what got us there rather than the yesterday snapshot of how we left

It's a horrible situation in Afghanistan, not the least of which is that the poor people facing the grinder are the ones who embraced America and its ideas of government. I think they should round up every woman who wants to leave and forge the visa papers later.

Those women journalists and any others are gonna have targets on their backs once we're gone. That should be unacceptable.

what seems lost in all of this is we are the losers in Afghanistan conflict.
After 20 years of occupation we were ejected.

We dont get to make the terms of our retreat.
There were/are no good options

I’m 100% open to getting all women here safely. I do not support bringing in adolescent or later men. Too much green on blue for me to ever believe we can vet in that part of the world. Anyone suggesting otherwise is opening the country to danger.
