what i'm doing is 100% supporting their right to make this choice...even though i don't think it is a particularly wise choice and is one that is reflective of a homicidal ideology that has contributed to tens of thousands of deaths in this country
once upon a time smoking in the workplace was accepted and fairly common...i don't remember if anyone quit their job when new smoking rules were implemented...but i would also 100% support people's right to do so, even though i would not consider it a very smart decision
btw that particular bit of tyranny (no smoking at the workplace and in many public spaces) has endured...so perhaps you are right to be concerned about the slippery slope...i imagine next year many school districts will have added the covid vaccine to the list of shots kids are required to get

I am also a "cancer coward" so stopped smoking over 30 years ago.

Sure. A covid coward is someone who is extremely fearful at an extreme low probability event. Such as dying from covid despite being vaccinated. Its like being fearful of getting struck by lightning... Hit at least the lightning cowards don't mandate we all stay home to keep them safe
