So, if you really believe so (even though you didn't watch the game), what does the regular season loss to the Rockets mean?

Means little in the grand scheme of things. Only thing that matters is homecourt against Indiana because they are really good at home.

Its a fair assessment. I just wish you would watch OKC play more and see all the easy buckets that RW gets KD. Instead of having to create everything himself KD gets layups and catch and shoot opportunities. They are starting to roll out a PnR between the two of them that is becoming lethal. Just keep a look out for that. I really believe that RW will average 10+ assists per game for the rest of the year (depending on minutes restrictions of course).

I watch plenty of OKC, every game? No but I watch plenty....I watched RW at UCLA and his whole career....I don't see him magically flipping the switch and changing. Maybe KD is great enough to overcome it but those type of PGs don't usually win rings.

Also, how bout those Rockets? Best team in the NBA since Jan 1

I don't think its fair to use RW's play in UCLA against him. He is night and day a different player.

Rockets are playing well. Beverly is an important player for them. I still believe OKC matches up great against them because for some reason Perk defends Dwight well.

Not sure how UCLA has anything to do with it, i think he played SG there, FWIW.

Btw, the last 5 PG's on the last 5 NBA champs were Chalmers x2, Kidd, Fisher x2.

Eh.

Rockets are playing well but i agree with thethe, OKC matches up decently with them since Perk for whatever reason seems to give Dwight some trouble. Will be a tough out though, West playoffs are gonna be intense.

OKC really matched up well with them in the playoffs last year.....derp.

They would of swept them if Russ didnt go down.

So i dont see where this is going.

HAHA, I have no clue what GF is talking about. THat would have been an easy sweep last year.

Thunder were one of the greatest regular season teams of all time. RW gets hurt and surprise surprise they don't look like a good team anymore. So strange how that happened.

What does being a great regular season team win you?

Why bring up last year?

They would of at WORST gone to the WCF's, at worst.

Take out Wade from Miami, they dont win it all, so thats a load of crap to bring up last year.

Of course. IF If if if fi if but but but but.

I guess it makes you guys feel better about losing when you can make unsupported claims.

If the Wiz had John Wall all of last year, we would have won it all! it's a lock. Its a certainty. Nobody in the NBA was beating the WIZ!

Sure thing GF. You believe what you want. OKC destroyed the NBA last year ALL year over a 82 game sample and then all of a sudden couldn't beat average teams like Houston/Memphis. That makes sense.

What a joke.

There is no if, Russ doesnt get hurt, they make the WCF's at worst, possibly the Finals.

KD cant do it alone, neither can LeBron, they all need other players to help out.

The NBA is the one sport was stars take over, or you need to have stars to win.

Are you really comparing baseball to basketball? Really?

The regular season in baseball is similar to basketball in that it makes no difference at all as long as you are in the playoffs.

The thought that if RW was healthy, they easily beat the Spurs or the Grizz is dumb. BUt, its just another example of you being a huge homer.

Besides, how many shoot first point guards have won NBA titles?

I didn't use it against him, I used it to backup my stance of what type of "PG" he is.

Kobe won a couple with Pau Gasol as the 2nd best player on the team. Dallas won one with Jason Terry as it's second best player. Why can't KD?

I can't believe that you are making this argument. There is no correlation. The NBA more than any other sport results in the best team winning. The Thunder proved they were at worst the second best team in basektball last year by HAVING AN ALL TIME REGULAR SEASON. All the other teams that had comparable point differentials all won the NBA title and you think the Thunder would have trouble with Memphis and SA? Sure thing guy. The Thunder have owned SA since game 3 of hte 2012 NBA Finals. They are a great matchup for the Thunder. I hope we play them again in the WCF this year. I'm more worried about the Rockets/Clipper than SA.

How many shoot first points guards in the history of the NBA have been as good as RW?
