Statistically I'd argue otherwise.

Let me know the next time a war is started or atrocity is committed in the name of atheism.

Edited to add: this isn’t meant as a potshot against religion. There are many, many good people of all religions doing good specifically in the name of their creator.

Take out Islamic extremism and just consider the Judeo/Christian faith and I'd say aethists have killed significantly more.

I mean, the Crusades alone would almost certainly disprove that thought.

Do you think Hitler/Stalin/Mao/Pol Pot were religious men?

So forgive me if I'm excluding things like the dark ages and prior to the Renaissance from my current real time assessment.

Hitler was no Atheist, but I concede the others. The question I would have to start is whether you think it’s reasonable to attribute those deaths to their atheism. I think that’s at best a stretch. However, based on the framing of your statement, I still think it’s wrong. More deaths in history would be attributable to Christians than any of the Communist rulers.

I don't care about all history. Ever since we got our rightful lands back from the barbarian hordes the Judeo-Christian West has brought prosperity to the world. The Godless are the ones that are trying to bring it all down now.
