Around the Majors - 2022 Version

5 years/$108 million for Castillo from Seattle. 5 years/$100 million for Musgrove from the Padres.

Not sure Fried can ask for more if he wants to stay in Atlanta after the season Berrios has had.

Depends how old you are....

But Bonds was better and Trout will be too when he retires. Pujols is an alltimer but the 2nd half of his career was meh. He's a better version of Frank Thomas.

Bonds was the best. You absolutely couldn't pitch to him

Bonds' discipline and recognition of the strikezone was so good that umps were too scared to ring him up on anything that was borderline.

I think Clemens got a borderline call against Bonds when he was with the Astros. But if he didn't swing, the umps just gave him the benefit of the doubt that it wasn't a strike.

Ken Ray filth was the only time I've seen Bonds swing at a bad pitch and get embarassed in the 2000's.

Better question is if AA will go to that length of years to keep Max.

I’d be trying to divert the conversation from how bad I’m doing too. I don’t blame her one bit, but what a giant waste of time
