There's no 163 tiebreaker anymore. Braves own the tiebreaker, so it's 1 now, a tie doesnt factor into the equation.

For anyone watching on MLB.tv, you can sync the radio feed with the TV broadcast. It has drastically improved my enjoyment of watching the Braves. We are truly spoiled by the radio crew.

It's 2. Now for sure 1 assures of no worse than a tie in the east, and we win the tiebreaker. Our magic number to win the east outright though is 2

If we win tonight, the East is the Braves. There's no 163 tiebreaker anymore, there's a mixup. The magic number is 1, would have been 4 if we lost last night. That's how big that game was. If the Braves/Mets end up tied, the Braves win due to the head to head.

That's a tie breaker. The tie breaker is used for seeding purposes. If it ends in a tie, both teams share the east, but we get the higher seed due to tie breaker

Magic number is still 1. Braves win a game, Mets lose 1 more. Division is ours.
 
I don't think I've seen anyone trying to argue about co-east champs. That is some weak sauce and I dont even think Mets fans going that route.

Would be nice to just win today and officially close out the division.

Still can't believe what we just witnessed.

Huh interesting. Usually, I'd agree with you but I thought it was a great broadcast last night. Was surprised about how much credit and praise they were giving the Braves.
 
I didn’t realize how good Chavez has been since coming back. In 13 IP he’s given up 3 runs on 7 hits with 3 BB and 12K

They mute the crowd for more on field noises, and Eduardo isn't that great in the booth. Whoever that was chiming in from the third chair (That sounded like he was at home, instead of at the game) was brutal

They didn't show any excitement at all for either team. Just kinda flat.

Yeah given who the Mets were throwing out, never would have thought we'd sweep but here we are.

That's usually the vibe I get from the ESPN Sunday night crew... but I didn't at all last night.
