OT Immaculate Grid

Putting my grid behind spoiler tags since it's early

Only one I missed was 2x3.

I could have gone Halladay or Schilling but I tried to go low% and went Cliff Lee. I thought Cliff racked up at least 200k's but I guess not.

Everyone should get Danys Baez just because of the Betemit trade. The funny thing is the other player in that trade we got could also qualify for the same square. So I wonder what his % was

Lots of low ones, only one double digit, Dallas Keuchel for Stros Cy (has to be the lowest right? Everyone else must have gotten Verlander and Clemens) unless they had an old winner I don't know about. lots of favorite players of mine. Scott Shields LA/TB Vinny Castilla TB/Hou, Big Game James as Rays 200K, Michale Bourn as PHI/HOU, Abreu as PHI/LA, Brett Myers as one of my lowest at 0.3% (Phillies have lots of big names with 200Ks, Carlton, Schilling, Hamels, Halladay, Lee, newer guys like Nola and Wheeler too), Don Drysdale on my Dodgers Cy (figure Kershaw and Koufax were dominant) and Greinke as 200K and Cy Young that wound up at 1%. There's probably some super low ones with old winners.

I tried Cliff Lee (see my spoiler tag post) and it didn't work lol wtf

Loved my low percent choices (<1%) of Eli Marrero, Luis Polonia, and George Lombard today.

Also surprised to see that Roger Maris is only at 11% for Yankees 40+ HR. I guess there is a ton of Aaron Judge and Babe Ruth responses.

Reggie Jackson was only 8%. I'm curious what Gehrig would have been.

I also got Marrero...thought about pulling the trigger on Lombard but didn't have the balls for it.

The second I saw Cards-Braves logos Marrero was instantly the first one I thought of.

And Jason Marquis.

Easy day for going low. Used former Braves in 5 of the 9 tiles today. Lowest scores were:

Darren Holmes .004% NY/Atl

Bobby Estalella CO/NYY .009% (Fantasy baseball savior for me for a year or two)

Chasen Shreve DET/Atl .8%

Jair Jurrjens Det/CO .5%

Matt Adams Stl/CO .3%

Lonnie Smith Stl/Atl .7%

Gehrig is 3%. I figured there were enough Yankees past and recent that he would be shuffled down pretty low. Jim Edmonds was 10% for the Cardinals, which surprised me.

Jim Edmonds was my pick too. Used Tino Martinez for my Yankee pick. Also, considered Giambi, but wasn't super confident he hit 40 in NY since I recall he started missing a bunch of games soon after signing that big contract.

The low picks with the Braves are always fun. My lowest were:

Atl/Det- Steve Avery - 1%
Atl/Stl- Ray King - 0.4%
Atl/NYY - Jaret Wright - 0.3%

I tripped up on Tigers 40 HR. I went with Jose Abreu and was surprised he never got it. He's come close and probably would have had it in 2020 had he had a full season.

Abreu never played for the Tigers....
