They did it just so they didnt have to trade Ohtani. But yeah, the odds they get close with that schedule coming up is not good.

Trea Turner 0-5 tonight and just butchered what would have been the final out in extra innings vs the Marlins.

That guy must have bought Ben Simmons house when he moved to Philadelphia.

I think this is a special circumstance. There is nothing Angels could get back in a rental trade that is as valuable as having Ohtani long term and if they trade him they wouldn't be doing everything possible to keep him.
 
I was all in on a Trea Turner contract knowing we'd have elite production while Fried and Acuna were still here. Ooops.

I did too.. I also had Billy out war'ing Murph (mainly because of split time).. had Soroka being old ways and getting extended..

I did say Ozuna would rebound to a positive player... thought that was DOA early this year. Also said Olly would be better than last year.. but is that really a stretch..
