I woke up feeling like I was punched in the gut. Postseason nerves have hit something fierce.
That reminds me that someone will have to go to msstate's home before the Saturday game and sedate him.

Another thing MLB needs to fix with this format are start times.. It is not right to have the same teams having day games everyday. The Rays are almost a 100 win team yet MLB makes it harder for them to sell playoff tickets by making them play midday on a weekday for 3 games, while Philly gets primetime slots to pack that crap ass stadium every night.

Scheduling is a serious issue. Day starts should not happen during the week. Period.
ESPN will be pushing hard for a Philadelphia - Los Angeles NLCS due to market sizes. They already slobbered over Philly last night and brought up Mookie for no reason last night.
Another change I'd like to see is giving the 1 seed the worst remaining seed after the Wild Card round similar to the NFL. The Braves would be 1 game away from hosting Arizona on Saturday instead of seeing the Phillies. This will help offset the joke that is the #3 seed in most years (most likely the Central divisions in both leagues).
That's the key point in all of the three-corner deal. I wrote last week that I thought MLB should take over the A's due to the gross mismanagement and full-blown tank-a-thon and the Contreras for Ruiz deal is one of the items at the center of my thinking. I think the A's/Braves side of the deal was fair value for both sides. The A's sent Contreras and Payamps to the Brewers for Ruiz. I've witnessed the commissioner stepping in and halting deals in the past and I can't believe that he let this one pass.

Yeah idk why they wouldn’t have the top seed face the lowest remaining seed. Why shouldn’t the top seed get the biggest advantage possible after 162 games played?
It’s ****ing stupid.

Payamps and Willy for Ruiz is an all-time fleece. Like idk how that's even possible.
Tampa with their strong ass start and 99 win season is looking to go down in only 2 playoff games. Sad.
That scares me
