I feel like being frustrated with the teams best player doing nothing in a series against a team 14 games worse is justified.

I get it's a small sample size. But players have to perform to win.. Harper has. Acuna hasn't (nor has literally anyone else)
 
Baseball is funny. Talking heads were worried about the Braves pitching especially the pen. Yet it's the offense is the reason we're going home.
 
It's very frustrating that Strider hung two sliders when it pretty clearly wasn't working, but he did everything he could to keep us in it. This offense should be completely embarrassed. Going to be a long damn plane ride back to Atlanta.
 
Yay! We get to see Ozzie lazily hit his pattern Texas league pop fly to the infield before the season wraps

Harper didn't have to sit for a week. Blame Manfred, not Acuna. I honestly don't think Manfred even likes baseball.

Yeah, and Harper has had plenty of playoff series where he has sucked and his team has lost. In fact, it was basically his entire playoff career before last year.

It is baseball. There is no such thing as just making it happen. Acuna is the best player in the game. It was extremely unlikely he was going to have a series like this, and unfortunately for us it came at the worst possible time. But acting like he doesn’t care or isn’t out there focused or giving it everything he has? Or just doesn’t have it when it counts? Stupid.
 
Acuna in game 1 with runners on 1st and 3rd with 1 out, k. Braves score noting.

Tonight braves have runner on 2b with 2 outs, Acuna up, groundball. Braves score nothing.

Tonight braves bases loaded with 2 outs, flyball. Braves score nothing.

If he come through even once, series probably different. He's come up snake eyes every time

Same for most of our offense.
 
My 4-year-old daughter likes watching baseball with me and has some interest in the game. I need to see if Ozzie can hit her some soft fly balls.
