Is payroll going up to align relative with the inflation of league payrolls or is it going up because the team is bringing in more revenue so we’re getting a pay raise?
So we’ll have all new base coaches. We’ve talked about Grissom to LF before but this is the first time I’ve see the team say it.
Unless he’s somehow a lights out defender, I just can’t see him hitting well enough to be a regular LF. I’d love to be wrong
My theory is after working with Grissom last winter, Vaughn was such a lost cause that Ron started hatching his escape plan.I don't think we'll have to worry about it. With Washington taking over the Angels, I fully expect the Halos to trade Trout to the Braves for Grissom so that Washington can finish making him into a Gold Glove shortstop. Of course, the Angels are going to have to sweeten the pot for the deal to happen.
He kind of lumbers at SS and 2b so I couldn’t see him being very good in the OF.
His outfield arm might be worse than Ozuna's.
Grissom is going to play winter ball this offseason. I wonder if he plays LF
Can’t remember where I saw it, but Chipper Jones was thrown out as a possibility as 3rd base coach
I'm curious that with Ross now available that he doesn't get a call to replace Washington.
Apparently Eric Young Sr is leaving too…
Just hire Eric Young, Jr., away from the Nationals. Save on jerseys.
I'd be okay with Ross or DeRosa for 3rd base coach.
League sources think Corbin Burnes is available. After Council left they think Milwaukee might tear it down and rebuild.
He's projected for 15.1 mil in last year of arby
