Trump Indictment Watch

Theres a difference between a different opinion and making **** up. If I listed my 94 Nissan Altima as worth 5k where the KBB value says 2k, that's a difference of opinion. If I said it was worth 50 million that is making **** up.

You just had a renowned expert that said Trump did absolutely nothing wrong.

It's hilarious that he thinks that's actually what's happening here.

He can’t even begin to comprehend how robust of an underwriting process exists for loans of this magnitude.

Just more nonsense that works well with low information voters.

Trump's already lost this case. It will laughed out of court when it moves up into the appellate courts.

Again, the difference between us is I will accept the verdict no matter if it goes against what I believe. You will only accept verdict that confirm your own belief.

After all the **** these people talked about the "experts" they really gonna come in here and claim an "expert" who got paid 900k is the end all be all.

And if he had been paid the same to be the prosecution witness you would have zero problem with it and would believe every word he said. Paid experts are expensive. This guy got paid something like $1500 an hour but it takes a lot of time to go through a company's books. As I said he has a sterling reputation and has been used in a lot of court cases. He was a state witness in the case against Exxon (he went through their books) in 2019. The media's portrayal of him now is of desperation because he just blew up this case.

So far we have a bank executive who loaned Trump money who said Trump did nothing wrong.

We also had a real estate estate witness on the stand that said Trump's Mar-a-Lago property is worth a billion dollars.

To be honest I didn't need expert witnesses to figure out what every everybody knows that Trump is innocent here.

The difference between us is that I realize this is a joke of a case and you don't.

The Supreme Court said Monday it will consider special counsel Jack Smith’s request to fast-track consideration of Donald Trump’s claim he is immune from prosecution for alleged election obstruction in 2020 — intensifying the legal jockeying over whether Trump’s criminal trial in D.C. will stay on schedule for early next year.

The decision by the nation’s highest court doesn’t mean that the justices will definitely short-circuit the typical appeals process, but it means they are going to hear arguments from both sides about whether they should act quickly. Trump’s lawyers were told to file briefs on the issue by Dec. 20.

The quick response by the Supreme Court came hours after Smith’s office filed its request seeking to essentially leapfrog an appeals court process that Trump has already started but which could take months to resolve. A lengthy appeal could slow the Justice Department’s push for a March trial for Trump, the front-runner for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.

It is unusual for the government to ask the court to disrupt the judicial process, and to do so quickly. “The United States recognizes that this is an extraordinary request,” Smith wrote. “This is an extraordinary case.”

There is a compelling public interest to have these matters adjudicated quickly.
