I have been following this team since 1972. I was 12 years old, the first game I ever listened to Hank Aaron hit a HR to pass Willie Mays on the all-time list. In the years between 1971 and 1991 we lost 90 or more games some 12 or 13 times, above .500 only 4 times. Yes, it is a big letdown...

I really do not see any "SUPER" team in the postseason, at least one that stands out to me as the very best. I think all eight teams are pretty evenly matched, and that every series could max out. I think it is as wide open as any postseason I can remember.

I do not think there is a "super" team in the playoff bound clubs that sticks out as being far superior to all the others. Every team has some flaw or two. The Braves have just as many pros and cons as the others. And as such, are just as likely to win the whole thing as any other club, IMO.

In fairness, a lucky grab of Mac's line drive with runners on by Kennedy was flukish at best. The dude wasn't even looking and just stuck his glove up at the right time to avoid being killed by it. That inning and the game could have been very different had the ball not found his glove.
