I doubt this is over Kevin maitans deal, 'handshake deals' aren't uncommon in Latin America and the Braves are certainly not the only deal that agrees with prospects before the J2 deadline. While frowned upon, I can't imagine they'd hammer the braves on that and ignore all the other cases of it...

I don't see the need to keep people like Minter down for that long if he's healthy, Swanson either for that matter. I think there's a good balance and while the Braves haven't always found that balance, I think what you propose is the other end of the extreme - neither of which is ideal IMO.

How long did you want Swanson and Minter to stay down?? One is a college reliever with a history of arm trouble and the other a college SS who was the #1 pick. At some point they have to come up.
