We will just have to disagree there.
Look at the rotations of the Mets and Nats who we have to compete with. It just doesn't stack up unless we get a Grienke/Price

I wouldn't bank on Zimmermann being gone just yet.
Im not a huge fan of Gio, but he had a 3.03 FIP/3.39 xFIP last year and 3.16 FIP/3.47 xFIP this year; which is pretty solid.
They still have Roark, Cole, Ross, Giolito, and Lopez as options behind Scherzer/Strasburg/Gio
Which callups didn't look good?
At this point how can anyone put faith in Stras. Guy is perpetually hurt.
We rocked Cole.
Giolito can step in for sure. Don't know who Lopez is, but I find it difficult to believe those guys are significantly better than Man Ban or Wisler. They may be, I just don't sweat it to the Nats farm.
You think Washington resigns Zim? What happens to Stras?
If you had to guess right now, who you think are the 5 guys?
1. Price
2. Zimmerman
3. Teheran
4. Wisler
5. ManBan/Williams Perez
I just don't see FA bats that the Braves will spend $50-$60M on this offseason, and I can't see them trading the farm for someone else's bat at this point when the strength of the FA market is SP. If the Braves don't sign 2 top end guys, I feel sure that it will be at least 1 and a second tier guy like a Latos.
I think we acquire a bat that's making a bunch of money.
How has Longoria lasted so long in Tampa Bay ?
Seems out of character for that franchise to hold someone this long
1. Maddux
2. Glavine
3. Smoltz
4. Avery
5. Mercker
