No, I seriously doubt it. I really don't pay a ton of attention to defensive caching stats outside of framing though.

Just interesting that Castillo is considered a well-above average defensive catcher by both of those. Obviously I would assume they are using primarily things like blocking and throwing in that, but it's weird.

But he is apparently saving runs that way.

Wieters is fine if he signs for Castillo money. He is a definite upgrade for the Braves.

You have a strange fascination with me. Signing wouldn't make sense to me unless it's for basically free, bc Weiters isn't good and they already have Norris/Severino.
