Is it time to start calling him FF? Could be. Even an idiot like myself knew dufail was done and we should have upgraded the outfield. Instead we kept dufail and sign muk. Great plan there boys. Looking at what’s left just breaks your heart.

Braves are now “looking at alternatives in the outfield”...as we all knew they should have been all off season.

I’m not sure why they thought the current mix was acceptable and decided against getting a real solution when real solutions were available.

Time to start brainstorming about potential RHH options to fill out the bench.

Nick Castellanos
Jason werth
Hunter pence
Melvin upton

Castellanos is kinda serious

I think back to the reds/dodgers trade. I was really hoping to get Puig, even if it meant taking Kemp back for another year. Oh well. Hope all that debt we paid can get a few hits and keep the fannies in the seats.

We’ve been on the same page all offseason. He had all the resources to make another offensive move and didn’t.

It’s truly mind boggling. It’s not like Duvall and others were hitting so much that he could justify the inactivity. Now that Duvall has all but been deemed a failure we are left short handed. Sigh. No explanation can be made to justify this misstep.

All we can really hope for now is some 11th hour trade for Haniger involving Riley and an arm they don’t need right away at the MLB level.

Riley plus Anderson plus filler...or something similar.

Tendering a contract to Duvall and moving forward with the belief that he'd be able to contribute is a perfect example of am exec not being able to admit a mistake. Moving on from Duvall would have been an admission that trading for him was the wrong move. AA couldn't do it and there's been an opportunity cost.

I’m not against bringing Duvall to camp. We don’t lose much. I am against not bringing someone else in to compete with him for the 4th OF spot. Adam Jones would have been great

still not literally children

In one of his stand-up routines, David Cross talks about the misuse of "literally" to hilarious effect. The joke goes something like "A guy says to his friends, 'I literally crapped my pants." One of his friends replied 'Oh, you crapped your pants.'"
