i’m not sure where he fits. probably can’t rely on his bat enough to be our cOF. i would’ve tried him at 3B before JD. he’s making too much to be a bench/platoon player. i’ve always liked him as a player tho.

If our efforts for Peralta and Haniger fail to gain traction, I would move on to other trade targets. The ones have have in mind are Verdugo, Pederson and Kepler. I would use young pitching as the currency: Fried, Newcomb, Touki, Wilson, Wright, Allard, Wentz, Mueller.
I would not make Soroka, Gohara and Anderson availble.
If all else fails Muk on a one year deal is a fallback option.

The Braves aren’t trading Albies.
Come on guys. Albies is a 22 year old projected for 4 wins with 5 more years of control.

I think the $$ expended on JD limit what we can offer to Cutch and Brantley. The result is AA will focus more on corner outfield options that will cost more in the way of prospect capital than $$.

I'd rather trade for a outfielder than bring back Muk. He was AWFUL in the 2nd half. Just stop with that. If the Braves bring him back, i dont know how much more upgraded they are.
Braves also have two 1st round picks to replace some of the prospect gone in a trade, and again the Braves window isnt gonna last forever.
